Page 1: Information & consent

Name of researcher: Kim Voerman

About you: you live in the UK and have done so from when you were 8 years of age or younger. You are currently in a relationship and have been for at least 1 year.

This study is being done as part of my MRes Social Research and Gender and Sexuality degree at Birkbeck, University of London and has received ethical approval.

This study investigates whether there is a relationship between women’s sexual desire and the division of housework in heterosexual monogamous relationships. Your answers will help to paint a picture of this and will be analysed through statistical analysis.

You will be asked to complete this survey which will take about 20 minutes.

You can change your mind about participating at any time up until the submission of data, which is when you click 'finish' on the last page of this questionnaire. Once you submit your answers, it will not be possible to identify you or your data, so it will not be possible to remove your responses.

Your data will be kept anonymous by Kim Voerman and will be stored securely on their computer.

The analysis of your participation in this study will be written up in a report of the study for my degree. You will not be identifiable in the write up or any publication which might ensue.

Anonymised data will be made available to other researchers by using the collaborative data storage platform OSF.

The study is supervised by Dr Andi Fugard.
