Introduction

Birkbeck is pleased to offer 10 scholarships of £5000 per year to new full-time undergraduate students who identify as Black to increase diversity in Finance. These scholarships have been made possible through the Birkbeck and Goldman Sachs Diversity Fund, which was established with generous support from Goldman Sachs.

Please note that applicants who have previously studied Finance and/or will be undertaking a Finance module(s) at Birkbeck will be prioritised by the Academic Panel.

In addition to receiving an annual bursary, we will bring you together to benefit from group coaching sessions, a programme of careers and development sessions and a 1:1 session with a learning development tutor who will help you maximise your academic potential. These will be designed and led by our expert staff members to enable you to take control of your learning. From this, you will gain a supportive network of fellow students and learn how to devise a personal development plan that will build on your existing strengths and target areas of growth and development so that you can embark on or continue your studies at Birkbeck with confidence.
